Sound installation based on the microscopic observation of the continuous circular process of water. A amplified ice circle piece is suspended and exposed to room temperature, melting into a heated metal plate, also amplified. The drops in pressure of the defrost are capture by frozen hydrophones, when the cold water drops and reaches the metal, sounds are produced both from the impact and fast boiling/evaporation. All the stages of water cycle are processed in a multi-channel sound system. The piece slowly changes its shape, density and sound, every moment is unique and organically unpredictable. The interaction ends when the totality of its cycle is completed and no water remains.
A symbolic reflection on time perception, offering the spectator a possibility to hear detailed visceral sounds, which otherwise would be hidden. It deals with the ephemeral aspects of our physical world - circularity, mutation, time patterns and clashes become part of a piece with an approximate duration of 33 hours.
