A performance and a work about to related pieces of wood, with the same size. The intervention act comes as an observation within a specific matter - one of the pieces of wood was kept in a warehouse, while the other one was left outside, exposed to the climate conditions, for 6 months. The first phase of the work was to use and allow 'natural tools' to manipulate the object. The second phase consisted on developing a sound performance concerning overload visual information.
The sound work was developed in collaboration with Nuno Calçada. A tape was set to a six head recording circuit (a machine designed by Nuno), which recorded small fragments of the ambient sound, repeating it through the tape.
